Sonda do světa otevřeného softwaru. Dnes si vyzkoušíme moderní hudební přehrávač, zmenšíme si SVG soubory, vytvoříme si seznam sledovaných filmů a seriálů a nakonec si přehrajeme hudbu z příkazového řádku.

Tauon

Velmi moderní a uživatelsky velmi přívětivý hudební přehrávač pro stolní počítače, který funguje v systémech Windows i Linux. Dokáže přehrávat různé typy místních zvukových souborů, včetně MP3, FLAC a OGG.

Umí také importovat skladby Spotify a dokonce ovládat přehrávání Spotify, stejně jako přehrávat hudbu ze serverů Keol a Airsonic. Kromě toho nabízí možnost přehrávání bez mezer, podporu textů včetně synchronizovaných souborů IRC a kytarových akordů.

Aplikace, která umožňuje vytvářet seznam sledovaných filmů a televizních seriálů, vyhledávat příslušné informace a také sledovat vybrané tituly. Kromě toho můžete také vylepšovat informace z databáze webu a také se účastnit diskusí o filmech a seriálech.

Díky svému grafickému rozhraní GTK/Libadwaita je ideální pro uživatele prostředí GNOME. Využívá rozhraní TMDb API, což je otevřená alternativa k filmové databázi IMDB.

Aplikace pro přehrávání hudby z příkazového řádku. Je kompletně napsaná v jazyce C, je malá (nepřesahuje 1 MiB), s nízkou náročností na paměť. Můžete si v ní i vytvářet a přehrávat vlastní seznamy skladeb a nabízí i vyhledávání v adresářích s hudbou. Ovládá se pomocí klávesových zkratek.
