Vývojáři z Canonicalu zveřejnili bližší informace o připravovaném Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. Do rodiny zařízení s předinstalovaným Manjaro Linuxem nově přibyl DeskMini UM700. Na Raspberry Pi 4 lze nově nainstalovat 64bitový EndeavourOS ARM.

Co chystá Ubuntu 22.04 LTS Jammy Jellyfish

Vývojáři ze společnosti Canonical zveřejnili bližší informace o nadcházejícím vydání linuxové distribuce Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. Jelikož se jedná o vydání s dlouhodobou podporou, bude kladen velký důraz na stabilitu. S největší pravděpodobností poběží na linuxovém jádře 5.15 LTS, které v době vydání v dubnu tohoto roku bude už půl roku staré. Jako výchozí prostředí bude použito GNOME 41, které ale poběží na GTK 3 s tím, že GTK 4 přijde až v dalších verzích Ubuntu.

DeskMini UM700 × Manjaro Linux

Tým kolem distribuce Manjaro Linux spolu se svým partnerem firmou MINISFORUM nedávno představil malý počítač DeskMini UM700 poháněný Manjaro Linuxem. Jedná se o zařízení s procesorem AMD Ryzen 7 3750H, grafikou Radeon RX Vega 10, až 16 GB paměti DDR4 a až 2TB SSD diskem. Prodávat se bude celosvětově a jeho cena začíná na 499 amerických dolarech (cca 10 700 Kč).

64bitový EndeavourOS ARM na Raspberry Pi 4

Majitelé Raspberry Pi 4 si nyní na svůj jednodeskový počítač mohou nainstalovat linuxovou distribuci EndeavourOS ARM s 64bitovým jádrem. Jeho vývojáři nedávno oznámili vydání skriptu, který umí nainstalovat tuto distribuci postavenou na Arch Linuxu na několik modelů jednodeskových počítačů včetně Raspberry Pi 4. Možné to je díky využití jádra z Raspberry Pi OS. Instalace 32bitové verze je však stále volitelná.

Ubuntu MATE 21.10 pro GPD Pocket 3

Ubuntu MATE 21.10 vyšlo už 14. října 2021 společně s vydáním Ubuntu 21.10 (Impish Indri). Přišlo s nejnovějším prostředím MATE 1.26 s podporou přihlášení se jako host a předinstalovanou aplikací RedShift pro nastavení barev na monitoru. Po několika měsících tvrdé práce vývojář Martin Wimpress oznámil dostupnost Ubuntu MATE 21.10 pro osmipalcový počítač GPD Pocket 3. Zatím u něj bohužel nebyla zprovozněna podpora integrované čtečky otisků prstů, všechno ostatní by ale mělo být použitelné.

Nově vydáno

Průběžně aktualizovaný operační systém GhostBSD vyšel ve verzi 22.01.12. Nová verze linuxové distribuce ExTiX 22.1 přichází s prostředním Deepin a umí běžet z RAM. Tým kolem operačního systému DragonFly BSD oznámil vydání verze 6.2.1. Patrick d'Emmabuntüs oznámil vydání Emmabuntüs DE4–1.01.
